Please be sure to arrive on time for your appointments. This is paramount to the flow and function of The Pin Up Groomer's schedule to help ensure that every pet is groomed in a timely and orderly fashion. We only allow a 10 minute window for late arrivals. After that, your appointment will be canceled and possibly rescheduled. You could incur a charge for last minute cancelation/reschedule.
For first time appointments, please bring with you a copy of your pet's current vaccination records printed on your Vet's letter head. Be ready to fill out a few forms to help us know you and your pet better. If you are active duty military, retired military, or a dependent, please have your I.D. ready to verify status in order to receive your military discount. Please also be prepared to provide an alternative pick-up person and their contact information.
All owners are contacted when service is complete. We do NOT hold pets all day, so please make sure you or an authorized person is available to pick up your furry family member upon service completion. This helps reduce stress and anxiety in your pet. If you need your pet to remain after service completion, please discuss with your groomer during the set up of your appointment not at drop off. If you are dropping off and inform your groomer you cannot pick up your pet when it is finished with the groom, you may have to have your appointment rescheduled. Last minute rescheduling could incur a charge fee.
Company policies –
The Pin Up Groomer does NOT offer dematting services. Mats on pets will be removed in the most humane way possible, which is a shave down.
Before booking new clients, The Pin Up Groomer requires a credit card be on file. We accept cash only for payment of services.
The Pin Up Groomer will NOT man-handle a pet in order to achieve your aesthetic ideal. If a pet is unable to be groomed, the groomer will contact you to discuss training options to work with her in order to properly acclimate your furry family member to the proper grooming protocols or other necessary options to achieve a safe grooming experience.
If your pet has special health needs or behavioral concerns, these need to be discussed prior to the appointment. We are not responsible for the failure of the pet owner to inform the staff of your pet's needs. In the event of injury/damage to a groomer/facility due to pet behavior, owner can be liable for damages and injuries inflicted by pet.
Military discounts are only authorized to Active Duty, retirees, and their dependents with a VALID military I.D. at time of drop off or pick up. Pet must be accompanied by service member or dependent. In instances of deployment, service member must be verified with groomer before leaving, the people with whom the pet will stay during the deployment must also meet the groomer prior to service member leaving. Military discount will be honored while service member is deployed. This does not apply to PCS moves in which pet is permanently relocated with someone other than the service member.
No Show clients will be charged the minimum estimated cost of service and will be blacklisted from making future appointments. Cancellations made less than 24 hrs in advance can incur a 50%-100% minimum cost of service charge. Late cancellations will need to be discussed with the groomer directly. All appointments must be confirmed the day prior to the service. If we do not receive confirmation, we will make one final attempt the day prior. If your appointment is not confirmed, we will cancel your appointment and schedule someone else for that time slot. If your groom had to be refunded, you will not be booked for future appointments.
If you or authorized pick-up person do not pick up your pet within 30 minutes of when service is complete, without prior discussion of pick-up time with CoCo, you will incur a pet sitting charge after that 30 minute window of $1 per minute. If your pet is not picked up within 2 hours, we will have to consider the pet as having been abandoned and turn the fur baby over to animal control or the nearest shelter. Even if pet has been abandoned, you will still be responsible for the cost of services rendered. We will exhaust all resources to contact you prior to contacting animal control or turning pet over to local shelter.
Due to covid-19, new restrictions have been put in place. We have scheduled clients so that owners and their pets do not come in contact with one another. This is why it is paramount that drop-off and pick up is done on time. The next client cannot drop off if another dog is still on the premises. We sanitize and disinfect after every pet is done and have gone home, before the arrival of the next one. Pets will need to be dropped-off and picked up curbside. We thank you for your understanding during these difficult and unique times.
