Hailing from the West Coast, CoCo, former pin up model, comes to the wonderful Hampton Roads bringing with her a passion and love of animals. As an owner of 2 dogs and 2 cats, she understands the value of pet care, and strives to provide the highest level of customer service.
After spending 16 years in the beauty industry, she decided it was time to invest 100% of her talents and love for animals, into pet grooming. She opened the first holistic grooming facility in Hampton Roads VA.
She received her education from Animal Behavior College ranking as a top student performer. She trained and interned with Champion Show Dog Groomer, Carrie DeJan. She also worked along side local groomer Susan Stillman who has over 40 years of grooming knowledge and experience.
She is trained and certified in Pet CPR. All equipment is maintained and sanitized between grooms and at close of day to help keep your furry family members safe and healthy. She believes in paving the way for sanitation practices in animal grooming.
CoCo maintains ongoing continued education to keep her skills on point with the latest trends in creative and breed standard grooming practices.

Company policies: The Pin Up Groomer does NOT offer de-matting services. Mats on pets will be removed in the most humane way possible which is shaved out.
The Pin Up Groomer will NOT man-handle a pet in order to achieve your aesthetic ideal. If a pet is unable to be groomed, your groomer will contact you to discuss training options to work with them in order to properly acclimate your furry family member to the proper grooming protocols, or any other recommendations that may be useful.
We do NOT accept animals that are aggressive. Failure to disclose potential behavioral concerns with your groomer prior to appointment could result in liabilities to the pet owner. Pet owners are responsible for injuries and damages that personnel or property sustains as a result of your pet's behavior.
We do NOT force pets through services. If your dog has joint pain, mouth pain, having significant anxiety, appears to be stressed etc. we will stop all services and contact the pet owner. The wellbeing of your pet and the safety of staff is our number 1 priority.
We do not accept pets that are riddled with fleas and/or ticks, nor do we take in animals that are physically ill. If your pet was sick the night before, the day of, or received recent immunizations from your vet, please reschedule your appointment for a time that is better for your pet. We will not groom animals that have recently had surgery and still have sutures and/or staples, and we require confirmation from vet that your pet is cleared for grooming. We also do not take animals that are actively in heat.
Before booking new clients, The Pin Up Groomer requires proof of up-to-date vaccines from your vet clinic. These must be printed on your vet's letter head. The Pin Up Groomer will not accept hand written or word documents you did yourself.
Military discounts are only authorized to Active Duty, retirees, and their dependents with a VALID military I.D. at time of drop off or pick up. Pet must be accompanied by service member or dependent. In instances of deployment, service member must be verified with groomer before leaving, and the people with whom the pet will stay during the deployment must also meet the groomer prior to service member leaving. Military discount will be honored while service member is deployed. This does not apply to PCS moves in which pet is permanently relocated with someone other than the service member.
Prices listed on menu are charged by the hour. Add-On Prices can vary depending on size of pet, coat length/density/condition, if service requires more than one person to complete etc.
No Show clients will be charged the minimum estimated cost of service and may be blacklisted from making future appointments. Cancellations made less than 24 hrs in advance can incur a 50%-100% minimum cost of service charge. Late cancellations will need to be discussed with the groomer directly. All appointments must be confirmed the day prior to the service. If we do not receive confirmation, we will make one final attempt the day prior. If your appointment is not confirmed, we will cancel your appointment and schedule someone else for that time slot
If you are late by 10 minutes or more, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. You may be charged a last minute cancelation fee.
If you or authorized pick-up person do not pick up your pet within 30 minutes of when service is complete, without prior discussion of pick-up time with The Pin Up Groomer, you will incur a pet sitting charge. You will incur a pet sitting charge after that 30 minute window of $1 per minute. If your pet is not picked up within 2 hours, and we have had no contact from you, we will have to consider the pet as having been abandoned, and turn the fur baby over to animal control or the nearest shelter. Even if pet has been abandoned, you will still be responsible for the cost of services rendered. We will exhaust all resources to contact you prior to contacting animal control or turning pet over to local shelter.
